11/18/11--19:49: Swimming & Diving Opens Three-Day Competition at the Bucknell Invitational (chan 3120187)

The Fordham swimming & diving teams are in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania this weekend, competing in the three-day Bucknell Invitational at Kinney Natatorium. The Rams had a good opening day, as the women's team sits in second place out of six teams, while the men are tied for fourth out of seven teams.


11/19/11--20:57: Swimming & Diving Continues Run at Bucknell Invitational (chan 3120187)

The Fordham swimming & diving teams continued their march up the standings at the three-day Bucknell Invitational on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The Fordham women remain in second place, but have closed the gap to just 50.5 points, while the men's team is now in sole possession of fourth place, as they grabbed a 31-point lead over Georgetown.

The Fordham swimming & diving teams wrapped up their stay at the three-day Bucknell Invitational on Sunday in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The Fordham women finished in second place, while the men's team ended up in fourth place.

Fordham University senior swimmer Courtney Collyer (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph by the Sea) was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming & Diving Co-Performer of the Week, it was announced by the league office today. It is Collyer's third weekly award of the season and fifh of her career.


12/03/11--18:59: Swimming & Diving Takes Part in Williams/Boston College Tri-Meet (chan 3120187)

The Fordham swimming & diving team competed for the final time prior to Christmas break on Saturday, taking on a tri-meet with Williams College and Boston College. By the end of the meet, the Rams had posted 11 event wins, but were just edged out in two of the four dual meet scores.

Fordham University junior swimmers Brienne Ryan (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall) and Devon Morris (Kirkland, Wash./The Bush School) were named the Atlantic 10 Women's and Men's Swimming & Diving Performers of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office today. It is Ryan's second weekly award of the season, while being the first career performer award for Morris.

Fordham head coach Steve Potsklan and the Rams' swimming and diving squad announced the signing of seven athletes today for 2012-13 season. The list includes Steve Sholdra (Renton, Wash./H.B. Education (Wash.)), Megan Gehrich (Canyon, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic), Theresa Goehring (Essex, Conn./Mercy), Megan Gray (Stamford, Conn./Westhill), Chandler Lulley (Smithtown, N.Y./St. Anthony's), Shannon Lulley (Smithtown, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and Anna Marshall (Skillman, N.J./Montgomery).


01/20/12--20:35: Swimming & Diving Sweeps Meet at Iona (chan 3120187)

In the team's first action following its winter training trip, the Fordham swimming & diving team had the first of two meets this weekend on Friday night. The Rams didn't disappoint, posting a sweep of the Iona Gaels, as the men won by a score of 135-96, while the women won by a 184-59 final score.


01/21/12--16:27: Swimming & Diving Earns Split Decision With La Salle (chan 3120187)

Competing for the second time in as many days, the Fordham swimming & diving teams were in Philadelphia on Saturday, looking to match their sweep of Iona from last night. The Rams however fell just a bit short, as the women's team did defeat La Salle, 160-140, but the men's team came up just shy, falling to the Explorers by a 163-133 count.

Fordham University junior swimmer Thomas Yi (Honolulu, Hawaii/Kalani) and senior diver Andrea Krok (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) were named the Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Performers of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office today. It is Yi's second weekly award of the season, while being the first career performer award for Krok.


01/28/12--16:03: Swimming & Diving Competes at the Rutgers/Rider Tri-Meet (chan 3120187)

The Fordham swimming & diving team was back in competition on Saturday at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center for the Rider/Rutgers Tri-Meet. At the end of the day, the Fordham women earned a split, defeating Rider, 216-78, while falling to Rutgers, 180-120, while the men's team lost to Rider, 170-128.


02/04/12--17:42: Women's Swimming Sets Four Pool Records in Win at UMass (chan 3120187)

The Fordham University women's swimming squad left more than waves in the University of Massachusetts' Joseph R. Rogers Pool today. The Rams also left their mark in the Rogers Pool record book, setting four pool marks in a 171-129 win over the Massachusetts women. On the men's side, the Rams fell to the Minutemen, 170-123.

02/08/12--18:11: Swimming & Diving Closes Out Home Season with Sweep of St. Francis on Senior Night (chan 3120187)

The Fordham swimming & diving teams hosted their final meet of the regular season on Wednesday night against St. Francis (NY) College, and celebrated the final home meet for 12 seniors. The Rams sent off the senior class with a sweep of the Terriers, as the Fordham men won, 136-71, while the women defeated St. Francis, 127-69.
